About Pet Christmas Tree Ornaments

Every PAWS&CLAWS pet ornament is originally hand sculpted in porcelain clay by artist, Judy Peters. From her original, we create a silicone mold from which we are able to pour exact duplicates.

We use a material called Hydrastone for the finished ornaments, which is stronger and denser than the porcelain, but able to duplicate the exact detail of the original. After they are poured and hardened, each one is hand painted by either Judy, or her daughter, Tracy, giving every individual ornament it's own "personality".

For almost every breed of dog and cat, there are multiple variations of color, or in some cases, body style. We hope that you are able to place your beloved pet on our site, but if you don't, check out our custom painting page.
